Junior Developer
About the Role
Fastest Creators is a full-service digital agency delivering websites, web applications, automation systems, and digital marketing for clients worldwide. Our engineering team ships production work every week — real projects, real users, real impact.
We're hiring a Junior Developer to grow with us. This is not an internship where you shadow people or a role buried in busywork: you'll write code that ships to real clients from your first week, with a senior developer reviewing your work and guiding you at every step.
We designed this role for someone early in their career. We care far more about your fundamentals, curiosity, and work ethic than your years of experience. If you've built things — for class, for practice, for fun — and you're serious about becoming a great developer, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Build responsive websites and web applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Convert Figma and design mockups into clean, pixel-accurate, mobile-first pages
- Fix bugs, improve page performance, and keep Core Web Vitals healthy
- Write clean, maintainable code following our development standards
- Work with senior developers on real client projects — from marketing sites to web apps
- Participate in code reviews: receive feedback on your code and learn to review others'
- Test your work across browsers and devices before handing it off
- Communicate progress clearly in our daily check-ins and meet agreed deadlines
- Gradually take ownership of features as your skills grow
Requirements
- Solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Basic experience with React — personal, academic, or bootcamp projects all count
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
- Basic Git skills: clone, branch, commit, push, and open a pull request
- Ability to communicate clearly in written English
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or code samples you can show us
- Reliable internet connection and availability for daily team check-ins
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback well, and improve fast
Nice to Have (not required)
- Experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, or TypeScript
- Basic knowledge of Node.js or any backend language (Python, PHP, etc.)
- Familiarity with Figma or converting designs to code
- Understanding of SEO basics, WordPress, or Shopify
- Any freelance, internship, or open-source experience
